Festival contributor and sponsor Beyond Bank wins Best Bank in Corporate Social Responsibility Award

For this award category, they were evaluated on how we demonstrate corporate social responsibility as core to our business activity, our commitment to sustainability, and our innovative community programs. In 2015 Beyond Bank became the first bank in Australia to achieve B Corp status which commits a corporation to meeting rigorous world standards of social and environmental performance. In Creating More Good Together: Shared Value Funding Models in Banking on 26 July, you can hear from Michelle Coelho and Katie Voss in Beyond Bank’s WA team about using business as a force for good. The bank is 100% owned by their customers and are able to create significant economic value while at the same time helping communities address their needs and challenges.
